October 31, 2011 is a Special Non-Working Holiday

MalacaƱang has declared Monday, October 31, 2011, as a special non-working day nationwide “to give full opportunity to our people to properly observe the day with all its religious fervor which invariably requires them to travel to and from different regions of the country.”

Executive secretary Paquito Ochoa Jr. on Monday, October 10, 2011, signed Presidential Proclamation No. 265 for the purpose.
