Chieffy Caligdong is 2011 Long Teng Cup top scorer

Chieffy Caligdong, vice-captain of the Philippine Azkals, brings home the Golden Boot award from the recently concluded 2011 Long Teng Cup held at the Kaohsiung National Stadium in Kaohsiung, Taiwan, on September 30, 2011 up to October 4, 2011.

Chieffy CaligdongCaligdong was declared top goalscorer of the international football competition after he successfully made two more goals on October 4 against Macau.

Prior to that, the Philippine Air Force enlisted member scored two goals on September 30, 2011 against then defending champion and now two-time champ Hong Kong.

Philippines bagged the same award for the second time in a row. Azkal Ian Araneta was also declared the top scorer in the inaugural edition last year.

The Filipino booters placed second in the tournament after finishing with 5 points. Hong Kong had 7 points, the host team Chinese Taipei garnered 4 points while Macau, whose squad was comprised of students, earned nothing.
