Andi Eigenmann retracts, omits name of baby's dad from her blog

Andi Eigenmann's long awaited confirmation about the true identity of her unborn child's father ended on Sunday after she posted a revealing blog post on Posterous. In the original blog entry, she did not hesitate to name Albie CasiƱo as the one who's responsible for her pregnancy.

But when her blog became the center of celebrity news and social media, the actress suddenly retracted her revelation.

Andi EigenmannShe posted on her blog last Sunday:

“Maybe instead of feeling bad that Albie left me to take on this responsibility by myself, I should thank him for giving me the opportunity go out and find genuine happiness once again. I'd obviously love for him to be around eventually. You know, to save myself the struggle to find a good way to explain his absence to his child. At the same time, I'd understand. Cus after all, I have no idea who or what kind of a person all the fame and fortune has turned him into now. All I hope is that he's well.”

The following day, the first line of that paragraph was altered. Albie's name was omitted and replaced with the words “baby daddy.” After the revision, it read:

“Maybe instead of feeling bad that the baby daddy (-_- really?) left me to take on this responsibility by myself, I should thank him for giving me the opportunity go out and find genuine happiness once again.”

The reason why she took it back was unclear, but it must have something to do with fans' reactions.

“I'd just like to clarify that the post prior to this has been edited. Purpose for this is merely for "fans" (really?), to stop reacting so violently,” she said in a new blog post on Monday.
