Suspension of Classes in NCR (August 2, 2011)

Due to insistent heavy rains brought by the Southwest Monsoon, the Department of Education - National Capital Region (DepEd-NCR) on Tuesday, August 2, 2011 has reportedly suspended all classes from pre-school to high school, both public and private, in Metro Manila.

As for colleges and universities, the Commission on Higher Education (CHEd) usually leaves the decision up to the school administration whether or not to suspend classes, otherwise the local government will be the one to decide.
