Samsung Galaxy S II LTE version unveiled

Samsung has announced that it will release an upgraded version of Galaxy S II, which has pumped up features and hardware. Expected to be officially launched on September 1st at Samsung IFA 2011, the Android 2.3 powered Samsung Galaxy S II LTE comes with a dual core processor and 4G internet connectivity.

Its 1.5 GHz ARM dual-core processor and LTE feature make the Samsung Galaxy S II LTE one of the rockstars among smartphones.

The buffed CPU will allow users to access lots of 3D games and videos by the phone. With corresponding network support, the LTE version will enable owners to download better-quality files at speeds of up to 100mbps, and to upload at speeds of 50mbps, that's 5 times faster than the quickest mobile connections out there.

All these mean better social gaming options, faster media streaming, and enhanced video conferencing. Not only that, eight mobile devices can also connect with the Samsung Galaxy S II LTE via Wi-Fi which redounds to easier sharing of multimedia content with family and friends.

IFA is the world's largest consumer electronics and electrical home appliances fair. It will be held in Berlin, Germany from September 2 to 7, with press days taking place on August 31 and September 1.
