Minsan Lang Kita Iibigin ending 'typical', 'predictable'

“Minsan Lang Kita Iibigin,” the family-oriented action-drama series on ABS-CBN, aired its finale Friday night, August 19th. The ending, according to a fan, was a ‘typical’ one and the final episode was ‘predictable’.

“Maganda po ang story pero ang ending walang twist, typical lang po, parang nakita ko na dati sa ibang drama sa TV,” the fan, who works as a househelper in the neigborhood, said when asked what her impression about the series was.

She added that the finale episode, although she said it was ‘predictable’, brought her to tears.

“Predictable 'yong last episode pero umiyak po talaga ako, lalo na nung part na hindi iniwan ni Alexander at Javier [twin roles played by Coco Martin] si Alondra [Lorna Tolentino] kahit na malapit na pong pumutok 'yong bomba, tumindig nga po ang balahibo ko” she said, teary-eyed.

The fan revealed that she followed and watched the series almost every night since it started airing last March, adding that what she liked most in it was the love team of Alexander and Krista [character of Maja Salvador].

“Sinubaybayan ko po talaga ang Minsan Lang... kasi po gustong-gusto ko po ang love team ni Maja at Coco, nakakakilig po silang dalawa at maligaya po ako kasi sa ending po nagpakasal sila,” she said gladly.

“Minsan Lang Kita Iibigin” premiered on the Kapamilya network on March 7, 2011 featuring a powerhouse cast that included John Estrada, Amy Austria, Tonton Gutierrez, Boots Anson-Roa, Ronaldo Valdez, Dante Rivero and controversial actress Andi Eigenmann.

The series aired until August 19, 2011 with a total of 118 episodes.
