Katy Perry did not perform at the 2011 MTV Video Music Awards, but, besides Adele, she dominated the show by winning three awards, including Video of the Year for “Firework.”
The 26-year-old singer, who has been a mainstay at the VMA since 2008, also snagged two more Moonmen for Best Collaboration and Best Special Effects for her sci-fi-themed “E.T.” music video featuring Kanye West.
The MTV Video Music Awards 2011 took place at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles last Sunday, August 28. It honored the best music videos from the previous year.
