Buwan ng Wika 2011 signals BoN 'quarantine'

August is the month of national language or “Buwan ng Wika” in the Philippines. Apart from the various activities being held in schools across the country to uphold and promote the use of the Filipino language, another significant event also happens this month - the PRC Board of Nursing (BoN) goes on ‘quarantine’.

BoN's quarantine means that the results of the Nursing Board Exam held last July 2 and 3, 2011 are going to be released in days time.

Facebook user Kathleen Yparraguirre Loren posted to BoN Marco Antonio C. Sto Tomas Fan Page on Sunday. The following is what she said:
Members of Board of Nursing (BoN) are now in “partial quarantine” according to BoN member Marco Antonio Sto Tomas.

“Partial quarantine” means individual members of the BoN are going on duty until 10 pm everyday to monitor and supervise the scoring of July 2011 Nursing Board Exam answer sheets.

He added that all members of the Board will go on full quarantine in the coming week (First day of the Linggo ng Wika). When all members of the BoN go on full quarantine, the release of the Nursing Board Exam Results usually follows a few weeks after.
Indeed, BoN Sto. Tomas posted a Facebook Note last Friday. He wrote:
To everyone keeping post over both my FB accounts ... especially those waiting for the results of the JUNE 2011 NLE...

... I am still able to post a message here and go over your individual posts therefore NO RELEASE YET. But let me share that we have already started "partial quarantine" this means we take turns going on duty everyday til 10pm... on the day called LINGGO NG WIKA, my youngest daughter's birthday in fact, we go on FULL QUARANTINE. I wish all ONLY THE BEST and the heart to carry on whatever be ones fate. In all circumstances, GOD IS THERE.
