Aside from phenomenal singing sensation Charice, there's another international performer who wants to do a show with YouTube star Arjohn Gilbert, the so-called “Pampanga's singing flute vendor.”
According to reports, Filipino-American rapper and record producer Apl.de.ap of the Black Eyed Peas expressed his desire to work with the talented Aeta boy “again.”
Before Arjohn was discovered through the popular video sharing site, Apl revealed that the young native, who sells flutes in Clark, Pampanga for a living, already played the role as his younger version in a music video.
Like Arjohn, Apl.de.ap also comes from Pampanga.
Meanwhile, Arjohn has reportedly accepted Charice's invitation to perform with her in a concert in Manila which is expected to take place later this year.
According to popular entertainment blog Starmometer, Arjohn in a fan-made video said: “Thank you Charice Pempengco [for inviting me] to your show. Maraming maraming salamat sa iyo, sana makasama kita sa international na album, duet tayo.”
