Typhoon Juaning PAGASA Update (July 28, 2011)

In its latest severe weather bulletin, PAGASA said Typhoon “Juaning” (International Name: “Nock-Ten”) has maintained its strength as it moved out from the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR). It is located at 370 kilometers West Northwest of Laoag City.

Weather forecasters said Tropical Storm “Juaning” has maximum sustained winds of 95 kph near the center and gustiness of up to 120 kph as of 10 a.m. today. It is forecast to move West Northwest at 24 kph.

All Public Storm Warning Signals have been lowered, the PAGASA said. With this development, this is the final bulletin on this weather disturbance, the weather bureau added.
