At 2:00 am today, Tropical Depression Goring was estimated based on satellite and surface data at 400 km North Northeast of Basco, Batanes with maximum winds of 55 kph near the center. It is forecast to move West at 7 kph.
No public storm warning signals were raised.
Tropical Depression Goring, the state weather bureau said, will continue to enhance Southwest Monsoon which will bring occasional rains over Luzon becoming frequent over the western section which may trigger flashfloods and landslides.
Meanwhile, a Low Pressure Area (LPA) was estimated at 210 km East of Hinatuan, Surigao Del Sur, PAGASA said. Southwest monsoon is affecting Luzon.
