DepEd Announcement: Suspension of Classes in NCR (Friday, June 24)

We are awaiting the announcement of the Department of Education about suspension of classes in Manila (NCR), and as to what areas are covered, due to flooding brought about by Tropical Storm Falcon. Please standby.

Update, June 23 at 9:25 PM:

DepEd: All elementary and high school classes in Metro Manila suspended on Friday.

According to DepEd NCR Director Elena Ruiz, all schools in the National Capital Region - Preschool, Elementary and High School - both public and private, have no classes on Friday, June 24.

Meanwhile, Commission on Higher Education (CHEd) chairman Patricia Licuanan in a media interview said it is the CHEd's protocol that once an area is placed under Signal No. 3, suspension of classes in colleges is automatic. Otherwise, the decision will come from the local government or school heads.
