Friendster's major facelift gets nearer

Friendster, the once popular social networking site before Facebook came, will be launching a reformatted web portal soon. Part of the move that they're going to take is the deletion of user contents such as photos, messages, comments, testimonials, shoutouts, blogs, forums and groups on May 31.

The new and improved Friendster, reports said, will focus on online games and entertainment. We were told that new features which will compliment users' activities on Facebook, and new functionalities to highlight music and videos will also be introduced.

The company has not issued an official statement about the new site which will go live in Beta. The information provided were just basic; no new information as to the exact details of the features can be found anywhere in the internet.
