Willie Revillame's special announcement (April 8, 2011)

Controversial host-producer Willie Revillame on Friday announced that Willing Willie will be showing a taped episode on Saturday, and that all advertisers will already be until April 9 only. Revillame said he wants to have space and "time to think."

The host also said he will be making a very important announcement before Friday's episode ends.

We will try to get a video of his special announcement.

Update: Willie Revillame announced that Willing Willie will go off-air for two weeks. After the holy week, he said he would decide and TV5 will announce whether or not Willing Willie will continue.

If ever he would do so, Revillame said he will bring Willing Willie back on-air with or without sponsors or advertisers.

During his announcement, which lasted for about 25 minutes, the host slammed the three members of MTRCB's Hearing and Adjudication Committee who inhibited themselves in his case; his detractors on Twitter among others Jim Paredes, Aiza Seguerra, Lea Salonga, Bianca Gonzales and Tuesday Vargas; and of course ABS-CBN, his former employer.

Revillame even threatened to sue those whose attacks against him were personal. The charges, he said, will be separate from the legal action to be taken by TV5.
