Google +1 ButtonSoon, webmasters and bloggers will be able to integrate the Google +1 button for their websites and blogs. The +1 button is shorthand for “this is pretty cool” similar to Facebok “Like” or "you should check this out” just like Facebook “Recommend.”

If you have a Google Profile, you can click +1 on Google or non_google websites or blogs to publicly give something a stamp of approval. Your +1's can help friends, contacts, and others on the web find the best stuff when they search.

How to get Google +1 for your website or blog?

Right now, Google said they are only showing the +1 button to a small slice of signed in US users as an experiment. The people who have the +1 button now were chosen at random, the search giant revealed.
  • If you have a Google Profile but don't have a website or blog, you can still +1 by registering in the experiment here.
  • If you want to add +1 in your blog or website, sign-up here with your email and site URL. You will be notified when it is available for your site.
+1 and Profiles are two layers of the much anticipated Google product for social.
