ECE board exam results April 2011 released! 1,170 new Electronics Engineers

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) on Thursday announced that 1,170 out of 2,602 takers passed the Electronics Engineer (ECE) Licensure Examination given by the Board of Electronics Engineering in the cities of Manila, Baguio and Cebu last April 10 and 11, 2011.

The number of passers represents forty five percent (45%) of the total number of examinees which include first-timers and repeaters.

The PRC also said fifteen (15) hurdled the technical evaluation for the upgrading as Professional Electronics Engineer, and twenty (20) out of thirty five (35) passed the Electronics Technician Licensure Examination.

Meanwhile, Billy Joe Rivera of the Mapua Institute of Technology landed at first place in the ECE board with a rating of 92.50%, second placer is Jian Carlo Zapata also of Mapua (91.60%) followed by Ryan Manly of Ateneo De Naga at third place (91.10%).
