SexBomb Dancers to switch network?

The popular all-female dance group SexBomb Dancers who had their opening number at ABS-CBN's noontime variety show Happy Yipee Yehey on Saturday, March 5, are in the news lately and more likely to be talked-about in entertainment shows, websites, blogs and social networking sites for the next few weeks.

The question “Will the SexBomb Dancers transfer to ABS-CBN?” still hangs in the air as confirmation about it from either the group or the Kapamilya network remains elusive.

SexBomb was alread dropped by Happy Yipee Yehey's rival show Eat Bulaga, the longest running noontime variety show in the country, supposedly for a very obvious reason — “conflict of interest.”

Talks were spreading in various online fora that if SexBomb Dancers would not become a Kapamilya, they could possibly be performing on shows, regardless of network, as freelancers.

There is, however, a strong indication that the SexBomb Dancers will transfer to Happy Yipee Yehey. Joy Cancio, the group's manager, is already the show's choreographer since launch. And although there were also rumors about SexBomb eyeing TV5 as their new home, a contract signing with ABS-CBN is the next most probable event to happen.

The SexBomb girls, sources say, are going to abide by Cancio's decision if their network switch is already final.
