James Jones is 3-Point Shootout Champ 2011

James Jones, the sharpshooter from Miami Heat, was awarded as champion of the Footlocker 3 Point Shootout Contest in the 2011 NBA All Star Saturday, February 19th in Los Angeles, after defeating two of the best 3-point shooters of the league, Ray Allen and Paul Pierce of the Boston Celtics.

Jones shot 20 balls in the second round. He said he felt no pressure in shooting the balls beyond the three-point arc and that he was comfortable in that zone and happy to compete with great players in the NBA.

Lakers reporter Mike Trudell posted on Twitter that it was like "Miami beats Boston for the first time this season."
