YouTube, Skype Updates for Nokia

Both Google and Skype released on Wednesday software updates for new Symbian-powered Nokia devices. The world's largest mobile phone manufacturer said improved video functionality comes with the new YouTube app while free calls and other features are a welcome news for Skype users.

Users of Symbian devices such as Nokia N8, C7 and C6-01 can log-in to their YouTube accounts to access their favorite videos. The screen resolution, Nokia said, also appears to have improved.

To install the new YouTube player for Nokia, visit m.google.com using your phone’s default browser and pick YouTube from the list.
