  • Let's kick it off with payday! Oh yes, everyone likes this time of the month specially so if it's not only the salary that will be received but also the bonus.

The Department of Budget and Management (DBM) has already announced that Government employees starting today will receive their cash gift and more than half of their 13th-month pay or bonus (the other half was already given last May). Click here for the related post.

Do you already have plans of what to spend your money with?

  • Board Exam Release(s)

The results of the Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET) and Librarian Licensure Exam are likely to be released today. But it will be more on the Librarian board results; the LET results, most probably, will be known on November 17 or 18 if not today.

Let's just hope it will be made available today to end all the agony being felt by the takers.

  • “Pilipinas Kay Ganda” Launch

The Department of Tourism (DOT) under the leadership of secretary Alberto Lim will launch the Philippines' newest tourism slogan “Pilipinas Kay Ganda” today. It will replace the long running “WOW Philippines,” the brainchild of former DOT secretary Richard Gordon.

We will embed the TVC video of “Pilipinas Kay Ganda” upon availability. Click here to read the full post.

  • Next, the release of the Latest Ranking of World’s Top 500 Supercomputers

The November 2010 list confirmed the rumor that China had already grabbed the supercomputing leadership spot passing the United States and other countries.

According to the Top500 Supercomputing Sites website, the National Supercomputer Center in Tianjin, China has achieved a performance level of 2.57 petaflop/s (quadrillions of calculations per second).

  • And last but definitely not the least, the winning number of the Grand Lotto 6/55 will be drawn by the PCSO tonight at 9:00.

Nobody won the prize of the previous draw. And because of that, the jackpot might reach as much as ₱460 Million tonight. I'll be rushing to the nearest lotto outlet later today. How about you?
So there you go, the highlights for one of the busiest days of the week. Oh, before I forget, tomorrow's a holiday. Haven't planned a family activity yet?
