Facebook on Monday has launched its modern messaging system called the New Messages — it's text, chat and email rolled into one. With Facebook Messages, you — can perform Seamless Messaging, can organize all messages with Conversation History, and will have a Social Inbox.
The latter allows you to use a @facebook.com email address (FMail), in addition to your Facebook username, to communicate.
