Anthony Leal Nepomuceno — Bar Exam Bombing Suspect

Anthony Leal Nepomuceno, the prime suspect in the September 2010 bar exam bombing at the De La Salle University, has surfaced Wednesday. No less than his APO frat brod Philippine vice president Jejomar Binay turned-over Nepomuceno to the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI).

According to media reports, Nepomuceno, a call center agent who hails from Mogpog, Marinduque, has been identified by witnesses as the one who allegedly threw the grenade to the crowd at the height of the celebration for the 2010 bar exams culmination.

Vice president Binay told media that Nepomuceno denied any involment in the blast and that he was not present at the crime scene when the incident happened.

Justice secretary Leila De Lima, during a media interview said that “the NBI's evidences point to him (Nepomuceno) strong enough because there are eye witnesses.”

TV reports early Wednesday evening revealed that the NBI has readied multiple frustrated murder and attemped murder charges against Nepomuceno, which will be filed before a proper court on Thursday, October 28th.
