How to Use TST Points for Smart TST

The level of excitement among Smart subscribers is increasing as August 1, the first day of the biggest text promo where one gets a chance to win cellphone loads, P10,000 daily and up to P5 million weekly is approaching.

Here it is, the Full Mechanics:

1. The Tutok Sabay Text Promo will run from August 1 to October 31, 2010 and open to all SMART subscribers (SMART Buddy. Talk ‘N Text, SMART Gold, Infinity).

2. In order to participate in the promo, SMART subscribers can either use TST points for prepaid subscribers and P0.50/text will be charged for postpaid subscribers to answer TV5 trivia questions via text. Subscribers will be able to get free TST points by loading any SMART Buddy and Talk ‘N Text electronic load variants and call and text cards.
a. Subscribers will get 1 Free TST point for every P2 load value for electronic load variants.
b. Subscribers will get 50 Free TST points when they load a call and text card (for any Call and Text Card value).
c. For electronic load, TST points will be credited at 8am the day after the SMART subscriber loads.
d. For Call and Text Cards, TST points will be credited after 48 hours.

3. In case subscriber does not have available TST points, he will be charged the following rates /text:
a. Prepaid: P1.00/transaction
b. Postpaid: P0.50/transaction

4. TST points will expire on October 31, 2010.

5. To earn raffle entries, subscribers must watch out for TV5 questions flashed in various TV5 programs and answer the questions via text. To answer, subscribers must text TV5<SHOW'S KEYWORD>space<letter of answer> to 8850. (Ex: TV5 F2F A).
a. Subscribers are charged 1 TST point/text
b. 1 answer is equal to 1 raffle entry

6. To be eligible to win, subscribers must text registration details by texting REG<space>Name/Address to 8850 (Ex: REG JOHN CRUZ/18 Pilar St., San Juan). Registration is free of charge.

7. Questions will be flashed in the following programs:

8. Subscribers can only win once in a day regardless of the prize.

9. Cut-off for the daily draw will be at 10:30 PM daily.

10. Should a post-paid subscriber win the free load, sub could choose to send the eload to a pre-paid subscriber via the following syntax. TST pass <destination MIN> to 8850. This option is only valid for SMART post-paid eload winners.

11. Cut-off for the weekly draw will be at 10:30 PM, every Saturday. Weekly winner will be drawn every Sunday in PO5.

12. For the weekly draw, E-Raffle draws will be done live on PO5 from August 8 to October 31, 2010:

13. The subscriber who wins in the weekly draw is guaranteed a prize of P100,000. He will then have a chance to increase his prize up to P5,000,000 by participating in the weekly jackpot round on PO5 through phone patch.

14. Non-­winning entries after each weekly draw will not be included in the succeeding draws.

15. Winner of the promo will receive a call from an authorized Smart representative via SMART'S special access number 7777 and will also be notified via registered mail in order to be advised to claim their prizes.

16. The winner has sixty (60) days from receipt of registered mail to claim his/her prize. If not claimed within the given period, the prize shall be forfeited in favor of the sponsor with prior DTI approval.

17. The prize may be claimed at the Smart Marketing Office, 28/F Smart Tower, 6799 Ayala Ave., Makati City.

18. Provincial winner may claim his/her prize at the nearest Smart Wireless Center as identified in the registered mail.

19. To claim his/her prize, the winner must present his/her winning Smart SIM, 2 valid IDs (Philippine passport, driver's license, company ID with picture, etc.), within 60 days from receipt of the notification through registered mail.

20. A participant can win only once, if a name is drawn more than once he/she gets the prize of higher value.

21. Prizes are transferable but not converted to cash.

22. 20% tax for prizes exceeding P10,000.00 shall be shouldered by SMART.

23. SMART and TV5 employees, advertising agencies and their relatives up to 3rd degree of consanguinity or affinity are disqualified from joining the promotion.

24. Subscribers can get more information about TST by texting in TST HELP to 8850 to get a list of available transactions for TST or text TST ON to 8850 to get news and points updates 3x a week.
