You read it right! Due to public demand, Search giant Google has launched a separate webpage to make the 30th anniversary Pac-Man Doodle permanently available. This materialized after an 'overwhelming but not surprising' success of the first-ever playable doodle.
Pac-Man is an arcade game developed by Namco and licensed for distribution in the United States by Midway, first released in Japan on May 22, 1980.
Google on May 21st 2010 rolled out a Pac-Man Doodle to celebrate the game's 30th birthday. The doodle, according to commenters in tech forums, was created using a combination of HTML5 and CSS3 module. No official word has been released though.
