It's official! Smartbro Plan 999 postpaid plan upgrades to 2 mbps. Smart Bro Plan 999 subscribers on fixed wireless connection (Canopy antenna) or wireless connection (Plug-it modem) can now enjoy up to 2 mbps (2000 kbps) broadband internet speed.
I have posted my anticipation about this upgrade back in December 2009 and now it has been materialized.
Update 4/5/2010: In a report by INQUIRER.net, the company said that the service upgrade will initially be available to "all new and existing Smart Bro Canopy individual subscribers in Pasig, San Juan, Mandaluyong, Makati, Parañaque, Pasay, Quezon City, Novaliches and Caloocan" and "the rest of the country very soon."
