Mozilla released Firefox update 3.5.1 to fix several securiy and stability issues that include, among others, a 'critical' bug in the Just-in-time (JIT) JavaScript compiler.
The revelation came after Mozilla.org posted a security advisory for Firefox 3.5 users that there is a reported crash that "could result in an exploitable memory corruption problem". The specified vulnerability, which involves the JIT compiler, could be exploited by an attacker to run malicious code to install malware.
