Older Microsoft Office programs do not have the ability to export and save documents to PDF format. This feature, however, is available for Microsoft Office 2007 with a downloadable add-on. Read on for important instructions.
To enjoy exporting and saving documents to PDF, download and install SaveAsPDF.exe
To install:
- Download the file by clicking the download link and saving the file to your hard disk.
- Double-click the SaveAsPDF.exe program file on your hard disk to start the Setup program.
- Follow the instructions on the screen to complete the installation.
- After you install this download open the document you want to publish and then, depending on the program you are using, select Save to PDF from the Office or File menu.
Relatively, an article published at Betanews revealed that "users will have the ability to export their open OOXML and compatibility mode documents to Open Document Format and to Adobe's PDF format" as soon as Microsoft Office 2007 Service Pack 2 is released on 28 April 2009.
