A friend emailed me that he is having a difficulty updating Eset Nod32 Anti-Virus.
Recently, I found out it took many clicks before we were able to update its virus signature database.
Here's the workaround.

Here's the workaround.
1. Open Nod32.
2. In the left window pane, click 'Setup' and then 'Enter entire advanced setup tree...'
3. In the left pane of the new window, click 'Update'.
4. In the 'Update server:' dropdown box, select "Choose automatically" and then click 'OK'.
6. Now in the left window pane, click "Update" and then 'Update virus signature database'.
If it does not update, click once more or a few more times. Give it time to automatically select an update server. A notification will pop up after a successful virus signature database update.
