WATCH: Actual scene of catching a snake inside Crispy King

Watch this viral video showing an actual scene in a Crispy King store and see what happened to a man who volunteered to catch a snake.

According to Lawrence OJ Morales, who posted the video on Facebook last Friday, the incident took place inside the fastfood restaurant in front of Naval State University (NSU) in Naval town in Biliran, an island province in the Eastern Visayas region.

The Crispy King crew panicked after they spotted the python. Three men and a security guard tried to catch it using bare hands. Unfortunately, one of those who volunteered got bitten. Blood from his hand scattered on the establishment's floor before he was rushed to the hospital for treatment.

Netizens who saw the video criticized the man for attempting to catch the snake with no knowledge and proper training on how to do it. Some said he was lucky that pythons are nonvenomous, otherwise he could have died from being poisoned.

The video, which the social media site categorized as "graphic," went viral with more than 35,000 shares, 12K comments and over 2.4 million views as of 8:50 this morning.
