#LeniLeaks archive, links, videos, posts: Everything you need to know

Everything you need to know about #LeniLeaks, the alleged leaked emails about the plan to oust President Rodrigo Duterte, is posted here.

#LeniLeaks refers to the exchange of emails between members of the restricted Yahoo! Groups community "Global Filipino Diaspora Council" (GFDC) including billionaire philanthropist Loida Nicolas-Lewis and her sister, former Commission on Filipinos Overseas chairwoman Imelda "Mely" Nicolas, both supporters of vice president Leni Robredo, Manila Bulletin reported.

The saga began when political analyst and social media personality Sass Rogando Sasot posted this:

THE STORY OF HOW I FOUND THE YAHOOGROUPS OF GLOBAL FILIPINO DIASPORA COUNCIL THAT LED TO #LeniLeaks

Noong Wednesday,...

Sasot got the message about the leaked emails on Wednesday, January 4, but it was actually addressed to blogger Thinking Pinoy, who started posting about the expose on Friday, January 6, on his blog and FB page.

Sasot and TP are known pro-Duterte social media personalities.

When news about #LeniLeaks broke, the messages of GFDC's members were apparently set to private by the page administrator on Saturday, January 7. The situation made the screenshots of the leaked emails questionnable and unverifiable, well, temporarily.

A third player in the expose surfaced. This time, Facebook personality Mamshies posted a link to a cached version of the leaked emails [https://beta.groups.yahoo.com/neo/groups/globalfildiaspora/conversations/messages/5855] coupled with a tutorial video explaining how Google Search cache works.

At first, no broadcast or print journalist  picked up #LeniLeaks and the mainstream media were silent about it, but when netizens' clamor to cover the story went loud, publications such as Manila Bulletin and Sunstar started conducting online polls regarding the issue.

Now aside from the two mentioned, giant networks GMA, ABS-CBN and TV5 are covering #LeniLeaks. The saga continues and the rest will be history.
