Dismayed over Duterte win, 'proud teacher' thinks of killing pupils

Dismayed over presumptive President Rodrigo Duterte's victory, elementary teacher Rechellia Glabo thought of killing slow-learning pupils.

The grade six mentor got bashed on social media after she allegedly posted the following on Facebook:

“Hm…So Mr. Duterte will be our president starting the day of proclamation. Hindi naman ako judgemental… Pero what if gayahin ko sya? Papatayin ko na lang ang mga pupils ko na wala nang pag-asang matuto?”

[Hm…So Mr. Duterte will be our president starting the day of proclamation. I am not judgmental… But what if I imitate him? I will kill my pupils who have no chance of learning?]

Duterte has been accused of committing extra-judicial killings during his term as city mayor of Davao. Some human rights advocates alleged that the victims of drug and crime-related summary executions included minors. However, no case was filed against the tough-talking public servant.

Glabo's intriguing Facebook post has been deleted but someone was able to capture a screenshot that has gone viral.

Netizens criticized the grade school teacher for apparently having a "criminal mind." Some of them called the attention of the Department of Education (DepEd) to look into the matter.
