VIRAL: Robredo family friend thinks gov't assassinated Jesse, won't vote for MarLeni

A friend of the Robredo family said she won't vote for administration bets Mar Roxas and Leni Robredo because she thinks that the government may have assassinated the late interior secretary Jesse Robredo.

In a lengthy and intriguing Facebook post, Eva Marie Poon recounted her experience with Jesse and how the latter told her about an alleged irregularity in the purchase of firetrucks. She said it's possible that Jessie was "assassinated" and that "the government did it" because "he was not going with the flow."

Jesse, a member of the Liberal Party that is currently fielding his widow as vice presidential candidate, served as Secretary of the Interior and Local Government in the administration of President Benigno Aquino III from 2010 to until his death in 2012.

He died in the Masbate plane crash. Results of the investigation conducted by the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) showed that pilot error caused the mishap.

Eva, one of those who first shared the viral photo showing Leni standing by the roadside while waiting for a bus, said Jesse "struggled" in the government he was part of.
