April 2016 civil service exam: School assignment, proper attire

The first civil service exam for 2016 happens Sunday, April 17. Here's the school assignment and policy on the proper attire of examinees.

The Civil Service Commission (CSC) has provided the Online Notice of School Assignment that takers of the Career Service Examination-Paper and Pencil Test (CSE-PPT) can access.

To find out the name and location of the school assigned as the examination venue, CLICK HERE.

Just key in your name, contact details, date of birth, region where you filed your application, and examination level. Print the notice and bring it on examination day together with a recent valid ID card with photo and signature, and your Application Receipt.

You can also receive a Notice of Result by checking the intended box.

As for the attire...it can be recalled that the CSC's Examination, Recruitement and Placement Office (ERPO) issued an examination advisory in 2012 which states that civil service exam takers must wear proper attire on exam day—no sleeveless shirt/blouse, short pants or slippers—otherwise they will not be allowed to take the test.

The ERPO made it clear that examinees who fail to comply “will not be accepted, and shall mean forfeiture of [their] examination fee and slot.”
