VIRAL: McDonald's crew gives customer surprise birthday treat

Simple but heartfelt gestures make a big impact. This was done by a McDonald's crew who gave a child customer a surprise birthday treat.

Sharmaine Tacluyan, manager of the fastfood chain's branch in Balibago, Angeles City, Pampanga, told her team to quickly pump some balloons and design a pancake with candle to be blown by a girl who spent her birthday at the restaurant last Sunday, February 7.
In her Facebook post, Tacluyan said the celebrant's mother initially asked for a discount, but since McDonald's does not offer it, she thought of giving the woman's daughter an instant treat.

She also led the staff in singing a Happy Birthday Song for the customer.

The lady manager said the reaction of the mother was unexpected, as can be seen in a video that went viral online. The 1-minute, 56-second clip already raked nearly 9,000 reactions, more than 2,600 shares and over 106,000 views as of 6 a.m. on Tuesday, February 9.

Tacluyan said it feels great to be a manager when you make a customer happy. She calls it "Serbisyong ALLOUT."
