'HIV carrier' claims he infected men in QC with virus

A gay individual who is said to be infected with human immunodeficiency virus has claimed that he transmitted HIV to several men in Quezon City.

The human immunodeficiency virus is a lentivirus that causes HIV infection and over time acquired immunodeficiency syndrome or AIDS.

Using his pen name "Beware Quezon City," the HIV carrier shared his alleged story in a blog post titled "Confessions of HIV carrier."

According to him, he was tested positive for HIV in 2014. At the time, he felt that his world was devastated, causing him to blame everyone including God.

He said he lost desire to live but thanks to his supportive family and friends as well as groups of people who have the same condition, he eventually learned to accept his situation and decided to not give up.

Currently under medication, the man said he is now living like a normal person. However, there were times that he asked himself why it happened. Depression and resentments, he said, left him no choice but to avenge himself thinking that doing it might give him peace of mind.

The alleged HIV carrier admitted that in 2015, he tried exploring again a gay registry site where he used to hook up for casual sex, believing that it is where he met the person who infected him with HIV.

He claimed to have chatted with and dated guys from Quezon City, where he also resides. With him going on top, he allegedly targetted aggressive bottoms and infected them by using condoms poked with holes.

At first he was happy but guilt and conscience haunted him later so he decided to stop. Unfortunately, he allegedly had sex with five men already.

He posted photos of his alleged victims and warned others not to go intimate with them as he is sure that they have HIV.
