Netizens appeal to Duterte to help paralyzed OFW

Netizens appealed to presidential candidate and Davao City Mayor Rodrigo Duterte to help an overseas Filipino worker who has been paralyzed.

Annabelle Babayen-on coursed her appeal through politician and Duterte supporter Manny Piñol.

She said half of the body of the OFW in Bahrain, identified only as Fe, got paralyzed.

The hospital reportedly allowed Fe to be discharged but she doesn't have the money to buy plane tickets so she can go back home to Zamboanga.

Babayen-on said they already sought help from the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA). However, getting assistance was difficult because Fe entered Bahrain using a visa-free access.

With Duterte's help, Babayen-on hopes the paralyzed OFW would be able to return to her family soon.
