WATCH: Arrested rapist admits he's afraid of Duterte

A self-confessed rapist, who was arrested in Cubao recently, admitted to media that he is afraid of presidential candidate Rodrigo Duterte.

Cubao is a commercial area in Quezon City, Philippines, where Duterte's rival, Liberal Party standard bearer Mar Roxas, lives.

The suspect, identified as 25-year-old Bethoven Delmar Jr., was nabbed after he barged into a house and attempted to rape a female resident. Bragging that raping women is just his "hobby, Delmar said he took a knife from the kitchen and threatened to kill his prospect if she refuses.

In an interview, the suspected rapist admitted that when he craves for sex, he looks for a target and carry out the crime while under the influence of illegal drugs and intoxicating alcohol.

"I'm a maniac when I'm drunk and high on drugs," he told News5.

The criminal apparently looked like he doesn't fear the cops, but is scared of one man — Duterte. He was thankful that Duterte is not yet the one sitting as president, otherwise he would be dead after getting arrested.
