WATCH: Kim Chiu gets 'special treatment' at Comelec voters registration

Kim Chiu was bashed online after she allegedly got special treatment during a recent Comelec voters registration in a mall in Marikina City.

A certain Fred L., one of those who fell in line to wait for their turn to register, took a video of the October 27 incident which quickly went viral after he posted it on Facebook.

The complainant said Comelec employees gave the 25-year-old Cebuana actress a VIP treatment.

They apparently facilitated her transaction ahead of thousands of people lining up since early morning, including senior citizens who were already in the priority lane.

The "Mr. Right" singer refuted the allegation.

In her reply to a question from Twitter user @adel_delica on Wednesday, Kim said she arrived around 7:30 a.m. but the mall was still closed.

Anticipating the hassle because she had a scheduled flight later that day, the Kapamilya star asked her road manager to line up on her behalf.

She only got off her vehicle and proceeded to the satellite registration booth when it was already her turn to register.

In a separate tweet, Kim Chiu urged her bashers to know the real story before quickly jumping to conclusions.
