Bullet found in bag of woman fetching husband's remains at NAIA

Is it another tanim-bala incident? A bullet was found in the bag of a woman who was fetching her husband's remains at NAIA on Friday night.

An ABS-CBN News report identified the lady as Nelda Cacay, who was stopped at the airport's arrival entrance around 11:30 p.m. on November 6 after Office for Transportation Security (OTS) personnel noticed a bullet inside her bag as it passed through the x-ray machine.

OTS supervisor Elmer Cahatol told the news team that they asked the 45-year-old widow to remove the bullet herself.

Cacay, who was supposed to fetch the body of her husband, Benjamin, who died in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, reportedly admitted that she uses the bullet along with a crocodile fang as talismans.

She has been released from detention, according to the report.
