VIRAL: Suspected motorcycle thief beaten by public

A video that shows a suspected motorcyle thief beaten by the public after he allegedly shot his victim has been making rounds on social media.

In the 2-minute, 55-second clip uploaded early Thursday morning on Facebook, an unidentified man is seen being arrested and tied by concerned citizens who apparently caught him taking away the victim's vehicle.

According to the uploader, the incident took place in Caloocan. Details as to when it happened as well as the identities of the suspect and victim remain undisclosed.

The video also captured a scene where the victim—wearing a helmet, red sweatshirt, maong pants and black shoes—is seen lying on the road and appears to be dead.

One of the citizens can be heard saying there was a gun and that the motorist was shot in the head.

The viral video already got hundreds of shares and likes and over 25,000 views in two hours after it was uploaded.
