US opens more jobs for Filipino nurses, health professionals

The United States reportedly opened hundreds of jobs for Filipino nurses and other health professionals. Watch this video and get informed.

According to a report aired Monday evening on ABS-CBN's late night newscast Bandila, over 400 jobs are waiting for Pinoy nurses, physical therapists, occupational therapists, medical technologists, and caregivers in America.

To qualify, applicants should have at least 2 years work experience.

Nurses are required to pass the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX) and English language profieciency exams like IELTS (International English Language Testing System).

The available job orders can be found on the official website of the Philippine Overseas Employment Administration.

The POEA advised applicants to choose licensed agencies to avoid being victimized by illegal recruiters, the report said.
