PhilStar.com reports that the regulatory board summoned ABS-CBN executives over a dialogue that antagonist Dona Benita Buenavista, played by veteran actress Pilar Pilapil, delivered during the soap's May 29 episode.

Dona Benita told her son Eduardo, played by Ian Veneracion: "Kung pampalipas-libog lang iyan [if it's only to satisfy lust], that’s okay. Go ahead."

In the series, Eduardo Buenavista is set to marry Claudia Salameda (Angelica Panganiban) despite being in a romantic relationship with Amor de Jesus, the report said.

The dialogue suggests that "it is okay to use a woman for the mere purpose of satisfying one's fleshly desires even if he is already engaged to marry another woman... obviously meant for a mature audience," the MTRCB letter signed by chairman Toto Villareal reportedly stated.

"The scene, if left unexplained, also cuts into the dignity of the woman and the integrity of an impending marriage—which is a protected institution," it added, according to the PhilStar report.

The meeting has been set today, June 9.
