Woman resumes playing online game after giving birth in cafe

As if nothing happened, a woman resumed playing her favorite online game at a cybercafe in Nanchang, China, after giving birth to a baby girl inside the establishment.

The 24-year-old mother delivered her baby on the floor of the internet cafe on Monday, according to Inquirer.net, citing a report published by the Guang Ming Daily.

The other customers reportedly rushed to check when they heard the baby crying. One of them offered the woman warm water to clean herself but she refused and instead continued playing.

Shocked of her reaction, the report said some patrons wrapped the baby with a piece of cloth then called an ambulance.

The woman, who lives in Shandong, reportedly said she ran away from home following an argument with her family.

She was supposed to move into the house of her baby's father but she lost her wallet and decided to go inside the cafe while waiting for him to fetch her.

According to the report, her family and boyfriend immediately went to the hospital after hearing the news.

Some netizens on social media said they believe the woman was addicted to the multiplayer online battle arena video game DOTA 2.
