Heartbreaking photos of a street kid and his hungry baby brother have touched the heart of netizens as the images go viral in social media.

Facebook user Santo Francisco took the pictures when he noticed Loloy and his 5-month old brother while they were commuting in a jeepney from La Loma to Navaliches, both in Quezon City.

He said his heart was broken and got teary while watching the child, whom he described as small, vitamin-deficient, and malnourished.

Francisco narrated that he invited the street kid to go with them. They bought three packs of milk and a feeding bottle in a store, where he also depositted money for some more packs of milk good for the following week.

In his Facebook account, the netizen asked for monetary donations to buy more baby's milk.

In a comment, Francisco said the two ride the jeepney from Novaliches to Caloocan daily. Loloy usually brings a small envelope and begs for alms from passengers. They live inside the La Loma Catholic Cemetery.

He added that a few hours after posting the photos on April 14, a few kind people pledged donations. On April 17, Francisco said he received P1,000 via LBC, which he said is "surely enough to buy more or less 10 packs of milk good for 1 month."
