Despite calls from Malacañang encouraging the public to participate as power shortage looms in Luzon this summer, observers said fewer people joined due to lack of promotion for the campaign particularly on radio and TV.

While there was heavy promotion online, most energy consumers especially those who do not use social media did not care or are simply unaware about Earth Hour 2015.
