Filipino solo fingerstyle guitarist performs 'Bohemian Rhapsody'

A video featuring a Filipino solo guitarist performing the fingerstyle version of Queen's "Bohemian Rhapsody" has gone viral on Facebook.

Posted on February 17 by Jhomz Espedido, the video has already garnered hundreds of shares and thousands of views on the social networking site.

The uploader, who lives in Antipolo City, Rizal, told in an interview that the musician in the viral video is his father, Pedro "Boy" Espedido, an overseas Filipino worker (OFW).

Pedro, his son said, is the former guitarist of then First Lady Imelda Marcos and "Jukebox King" Victor Wood. He arrived in the country last February 7 and is scheduled to get up the cruise ship again next month.

The 60-year-old solo guitarist played the British rock band's song last February 15, a day after Valentine's Day, to entertain his visitors who are relatives of comedian and Eat Bulaga co-host Jose Manalo.

The father of ten is a loving dad and good provider, his son said.
