Pacquiao vs Mayweather a done deal, fight set - report

Manny Pacquiao versus Floyd Mayweather is a done deal and the date as well as location have been set, according to a report published Friday.

A source "involved in the negotiations" had told TMZ Sports that the agreement for the much-awaited bout is expected to be formalized "soon" after some "finishing touches."

The news broke three days after the two celebrity boxers met in Miami right after the Heat game against the Milwaukee Bucks. It was also reported that Mayweather visited Pacquiao in his hotel room for a private talk about the fight.

In a recent inteview, the Filipino boxing icon confirmed the second meeting but refused to divulge details. However, it was reported that the undefeated American boxer made a request that he would be the first one to make an announcement.

In an interview on the Showtime network last December, Mayweather for the first time called for the highly anticipated match to take place on May 2nd. The pound-for-pound king verbally agreed to face Pacquiao under the condition that he should take a much bigger purse.
