Beware, a woman with quick hands is victimizing cashiers of convenience stores. Her modus operandi was caught on video that has gone viral.
According to a certain Sheryl Suarez, who posted the video on December 30, 2014, the incident happened last December 29 at around 10:32 to 10:40 in the morning.
She said the unidentified woman attempted to buy an infant milk. When she got the change of her P1,000 bill, the suspect pretended to call someone on the phone then told the cashier that she bought the wrong item.
When the cashier refunded her, the suspect took the P1,000 bill using her right hand and quickly put it in her right pocket while her left hand was taking out a P100 bill from her left pocket at the same time.
The switch happened so quickly that the victim gave her another P1,000. The suspect was able to double her money in a few minutes! Everything was captured in the footage, thanks to the CCTv camera.
Suarez left a cellphone number and offered a reward to anyone who can provide information on the suspect's whereabouts.

Notice the similarities in the color and design of both P1,000 and P100 bills.
Don't you think the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas needs to change either of the subject banknotes?
