MMFF 2014 Winners: 40th Metro Manila Film Festival Results

MMFF 2014 organizers have announced the results of the 40th Metro Manila Film Festival on Saturday. Here's the complete list of winners.




Yahoo! Celebrity Philippines reported that the biopic "Bonifacio: Ang Unang Pangulo," starring Robin Padilla and romantic-comedy film "English Only, Please," which stars Derek Ramsay (Best Actor), won most of the major awards with a total of nine and seven, respectively. On the other hand, "Kubot: The Aswang Chronicles" starring Dingdong Dantes, bagged six awards.

The leading box-office top earners—Vice Ganda's "The Amazing Praybeyt Benjamin" and Kris Aquino's "Feng Shui 2"—did not win any award. "My Big Bossing" lead star Ryzza Mae Dizon was awarded as Best Child Performer.
