An ABS-CBN News report identified the boy only as "Mark John."

He was reportedly referred to a specialist at the Corazon Locsin Montelibano Memorial Regional Hospital in Bacolod City for further examination.

To be able to urinate, "Mark John" underwent surgery.

Assistant city health officer Dr. Jovy Vergara told the news team that the baby's chromosomes did not develop properly.

She said "Mark John" must undergo a surgical procedure abroad after a year of observation for him to have a reproductive organ.

According to a Wikipedia entry, the rare condition of the baby boy who was born without a reproductive organ is called "penile agenesis," a birth defect in humans occurring about once in 5 to 6 million male births.
